“I always say where I come from in Churchill, we don’t have any homeless people. Anybody take a guess why?” Daudrich is heard saying on a video of the meeting posted on social media.

“When there’s serious repercussions for a bad lifestyle, people smarten up very quickly. So my plan is to import 10 polar bears and let them go in front of the (legislature) ... and let them have at ‘er.”

If that's his response to homelessness .... then we should just strip him of all his wealth, pump him full of alcohol and meth, get the city police to beat him with a rubber hose and throw him out on the streets of Winnipeg and see how he fares on his own.

If he believes it's an easy problem to solve, then he should be able to figure out by himself how to get his life back together and get off the streets.

I don't see much to apologize here for. Suggesting that we release polar bears in cities is quite obviously a joke - not a serious suggestion. To get offended by this and demand an apology as if it's something he genuinely wants to do is how you get people to vote for ones like Trump.
