Charlotte wins. So glad things have changed.

2. Keep content related to wrestling.
Any content posted should at least be related to pro wrestling somehow.
3. Spoilers.
Do not spoil events for people. If an event is going on, please keep discussion contained to the/a discussion thread for 24h after the event. Do not post spoilers in titles during this period. Use the spoiler function when you need to, it's there for a reason. Should your post involve a url to a spoiler (Twitter, YouTube video, etc) please mark the thread as NSFW as well so thumbnails are blurred.
4. Vague/Editorialized Title.
Please keep the titles of any articles you post clear, understandable, and indicative of what the article states within. It's ok to alter the title if the original is clickbait and confusing, or contains a spoiler like a debut that just occurred that day, but do not add your own thoughts to it.
5. Sexualized Content/'Plot'.
Please do not post any pornographic, 'creep shot', or similar adult-related material to the community (regardless of connection to wrestling). Wrestling content that involves sexualized content (in storylines/matches/promos) is fine, as well as photo's wrestlers post to their own social medias. I've come to decide I don't care if things are a work or a shoot, wrestling is more fun if I just believe everything is real.
Crowd impressed me again by letting Logan Paulβs entrance fall completely flat. At least thatβs how I perceived it, hope it was that way in the arena too.
I don't watch much WWE but I've got to ask what happened to theme music, besides a couple everyone's music sounded generic, it was especially bad during the women's Rumble, I had no idea who was coming out based on the music alone until I saw them
One of WWE's biggest issues (aside from the history of rape and abuse of course).
They stopped using Jim Johnston in 2017 and switched to CFO$ for a couple years, then in 2019 switched to def rebel for wrestlers entrances. The biggest complaint is usually that the themes are (as you said) generic af to the point where you don't know who its for until you see their name pop up on the screen. They put no effort into it anymore. Outside of Cody (who owns his music) and Punk (whose in tight with In Living Color) you get shit music now.
That Alabama Slam looked rough
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I do not like WWE's new way of starting shows where they show people walking like they are just entering the arena and talk about them.
Edit: and the creator of Women's Wrestling, Stephanie McMahon, is out first to talk...

I feel ya on this. I know they like showing people off on camera but its 2025 and kayfabe is dead, we know the fucking call time for the show was like 10am and all these people have been there all damned day lol.
Of course they start with Rey vs New Hotness lol
Guess the 'E worked out them contract problems with Alexa!
Could that have been a work? Genuine question. WWE like surprise returns at the rumble and having everyone think Bliss had not come to an agreement made the return even more of a surprise, for me at least.
@BowserBasher @GeekFTW I had that conversation with the Mrs. The day before "if she was going to be a surprise at the rumble that's exactly what I would say"
Oh absolutely could be, and imo at least, was.
That, Drew 'leaving the building right away after he was eliminated, pissed off, ranting and raving about stuff' (which is being reported by everyone and is very similar to something they did before and almost certainly a work), Grace faking a plane ticket for her mom's bday on the same day as Rumble as 'proof' she wouldn't be there, etc.
WWE is in full on 'fuck with the dirt sheets' mode right now cause they know at worst Meltzer and Alvarez will fall for and report it, at best PWI reports it and then Sapp hops on the buggy too to justify his $5/m subs lol. Reporting has gotten so shit lately they're probably laughing their asses off with wanting to take advantage.
Wow, shocking, so great, the only person with a pyro entrance and allowed to slow walk to the ring wins... whoopity fucking doo...
Edit... The men's Rumble gave me a happy surprise, the Rumble is the Rumble and I just enjoy these matches even when they suck... Still wish they had music I recognized though.
Edit 2: I'm not implying this years sucked. I do have an opinion on them, first half of women's was better than last half, and that is reversed for the men's bout, started slow and got better.
Women's Rumble is confirmed opening, by PWInsider

I don't really keep up with WWE anymore because it's made by rape monsters, but I do enjoy a good Rumble. This was a mostly pretty good pair of Rumbles.
Nia getting to eliminate Trish was offensive. Also I've always hated Charlotte so her and Nia letdown an otherwise fun match up to that point.
Happy Penta got plenty of time to shine. Felt like he held back a little on some of those Cero Miedos though. In AEW he'd shunt people across the ring by their faces.
My kids were very happy to see the I Show Speed guy.
Also not Rumble specific but god I do not like Michael Cole. I have been listening to his obnoxious bellend-ery since I was a kid, hoping he'd just go away, but here we are 20 something years later, even with Vince out of his ear, I still can't stand him.
