Definitely a man made pyramid.

[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 37 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It was their first time building a pyramid, and they did their best.

[–] LilDumpy@lemmy.world 19 points 1 month ago (1 children)

They didn't even know what a pyramid was before they began construction on the pyramid. That's why it looks like that.

That's a clever reaction pic

[–] SendMePhotos@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Oh shit, is that from Google? Now it's double confirmed.

This just looks like 3 seperate answers from a hallucinating chatbot

[–] Hadriscus@lemm.ee 1 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

reads suspiciously like what the Amazon support bot tells me when I ask about my packages being late

[–] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 1 points 4 weeks ago

Makes me think both the OOP and the chat"bot" are Indian

Why is it forbidden to climb Kailash?

Reinhold Messner was given the opportunity by the Chinese government to climb the mountain in the mid-1980s. But he reportedly declined, saying "If we conquer this mountain, then we conquer something in people's souls. I would suggest they go and climb something a little harder."

I would suggest they go and climb something a little harder.

😳

What are they even getting at? I mean I know it's aliens, but they are just stating random crap, and not offering conclusions.

Looks great and like a pyramid. But indeed, Google's AI (and some "scientists") often says weird things ... i wanted to be sure so i looked it up at Wikipedia :
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Kailash
... it's in fact forbidden to climb it and recognize by 4 religions.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

As per Buddhist texts, Mount Kailash (Kailasa) is known as the mythological Mount Meru.[56][72] Kailash is central to its cosmology, and a major pilgrimage site for some Buddhist traditions.

Yeah, not like there's any of them in China. Certainly not in Tibet.

"Google maps confirmed this" Sure buddy

[–] Thistlewick@lemmynsfw.com 4 points 1 month ago

I typed in “where the sky meets the earth” and google maps told me to find a Sherpa and get climbing.

[–] Pandemanium@lemm.ee 9 points 1 month ago

Lol. "Why is this mountain in China when it was never part of India?" What kind of stupid question is that?

[–] pseudo@jlai.lu 6 points 1 month ago

God... That is some poorly written text if I've ever read one.

[–] niktemadur@lemmy.world 5 points 4 weeks ago

Not just any ol' Google, but Google Maps, no less!

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 4 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

Wtf is "where the sky meets the earth" supposed to mean?

Because I'd argue that the sky meets the earth pretty much everywhere on the planet where the earth is exposed and there's nothing profound about that.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 4 weeks ago

I don't know, but it's confirmed by Google Maps. Which totally shows the sky.

[–] Nalivai@lemmy.world 3 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

Cool mountain! If those faces are sheer, I can imagine it would be hard to climb. Edit: I can't spell (shear to sheer)
