put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

Found a site with more precise vote counting https://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/

I made this comment based on Green Party results compared to 2016, but actually, this seems like it's the best PSL has ever done. And that's without all of California counted, too! Also worth noting that the Greens (despite their poor performance) appear to have done better than the Libertarians, which I don't think has ever happened. They did better than RFK as well. So at least there's that.

Trump wins Wisconsin. This puts him over the 270 threshold needed for the Skull Throne.

love how the chapo stream is just a psychedelic filter over the election map and Trump's victory speech with gifs of felix and will staring on the side, we live in an era where it has become inadequate to bear witness to our modern horrors, we've gotta hand this site from the ex-somethingawfullers and put it into the hands of the chronically online zoomers such as myself so that we can form a grand movement that will make Abbie Hoffman smile down upon us from heaven

House is shaping up to be really close. Even if it goes Republican looking like probably within a few seats, hopefully close enough of a check to prevent the free flow of chud hooliganry.

Hasan say “the system exists to perpetuate capitalism, voting is a lie” challenge. People on this website told me he was a socialist pipeline. Seems like a real good time to radicalise people

I Hate James Dobson just full libbed out with "vote for the one who gets you closer to the world you want, fighting and organizing will be harder under Trump!" As if genocide gets me any closer to the world i want, as if the last fucking year hasn't happened, no mention of Palestine at all, just baffled anger and disappointment on my end. This stupid election is like the fucking blood moon, it just draws out the worst and most selfish in people who should know better

inb4 all the opinion pieces that will now talk about whether it was a good idea or not to just hand the nomination to contextphobic without running her in the primaries against other dems after Biden dropped out

I already have my "Barron 2042" yard sign proudly displayed. It's never too early. The Barron/Hawk Tuah administration will be the first Maoist presidency in the USA theory-gary

The "blue wall" didn't hold lmfao

I don't think Trump's victory is deserved, kinda wild to see this incompetent man win the presidency for the second time and after making huge mistakes like picking Vance as VP. But I do think Harris' defeat is indeed deserved, they deserved to be crushed because they fucked around too much and became grotesquely arrogant. If anything, the first woman president of the US shouldn't have been this piece of shit loser who failed her way to the top and the Democrats forced everyone to like because they refused to pressure Biden to step down earlier and then refused to hold primaries.

Serves them right.

Now I beg you, organize. And when you think you're done organizing, organize some more. And when that is enough, no it isn't, more organization is needed. In times of extreme polarization, organization becomes desirable and mandatory.

It's kinda funny that what probably motivated Trump the most to run again was to avoid prosecution/getting sent to prison. If the Democrats had just treated his criminality the way they treated the criminality of GWB, I wonder if Trump just fucks off to Florida permanently.
