I wonder what excuse conservatives in the west are going to use for climate inaction now that the "it doesn't matter what we do, China has more emissions" line is going to become irrelevant.

while these news are great. it is good to remember than decreasing emissions is not enough.
if you see in a room that is filling fast with water and you are about to drown, would you be relieved if water simply started pouring a bit more slowly?
it will take decades for the atmosphere to get back to normal even if we halted new emissions
Here's hoping this reverses, and that the reversal continues to accelerate.
EVs can't save us. There is a future with renewables, but it isn't one of infinite growth and attempting to do that isn't gonna work well.
I wouldn't have guessed this would be the tipping point, but I'm excited to hear more about this in the future. This would be amazing news
