Sam's Club is boosting pay for nearly 100,000 hourly workers, with the retail chain's starting wage rising by a buck to $16.

  1. Sam's Club is owned by walmart.

  2. $16 an hour is $33,280.

  3. Walmart's CEO was compensated $26.9 million. Thats $12,930.00 an hour.

And most people I’ve met at these wages (I make $15) don’t even get full time, so 12-30 hours a week would be more precise. Most of my coworkers, even the full time ones, need a second income.
