Damn, this thing's a week and some change away. What the fuck happened to September?
I like how they're combining the Link's Awakening remake style with the gameplay design of the other Switch Zeldas

Yeah I’m super pumped about this game. Everything looks like a win and I’m excited to try the new Zelda mechanics of game breaking puzzle solving with older era dungeons
looks like it will be fun, but I'm still waiting on Punished Zelda in a 3D adventure. I'm excited to see the multi-item system, though, I always felt 2D adventure games with distant milestones for new items or abilities didn't match up with the pacing I'd want
Love the concept and presentation on paper. The pessimist in me expects the execution to be akin to Scribblenauts where once you have a practical solution to a problem that's all you'll use for 90% of the game. Also tapping through a long list of items instead of typing out the name of one sounds equally awful. I'm hoping it's better than my assumptions.
They were talking about the game on Remap Radio, and Patrick mentioned that he was spamming this summoned kese swarm to beat a boss instead of doing the "intended" puzzle solution.
I'm guessing with the BotW style design, you can kinda find a hammer to smash all the puzzles if you really want to.
Tabletop, DnD, board games, and minecraft. Also Animal Crossing.
