This one gives crypto vibes. They talk about earning tokens for using but don't explain what they do.
You can use it WO turn on the crypto stuff, I have like 2 years using presearch and it's a pretty good search engine.
AFAIK it's a decentralized search engine and they operate in a crypto system.

I use DDG but caveat emptor it's using Bing as a backend. I find it is very good at certain things google censors like finding streams of obscure films though.
I use Qwant, a French search engine. Much better.
