Can confirm. The only time my cat got a bath was when she climbed into the fireplace and got soot all over her paws. We didn't want her licking it off, so my wife gave her a bath. Idiot tried going straight for the fireplace again, so we had to block it off until we got a new cover for it that was cat resistant.
I'm 100% certain that if I tried to give my cat a bath, I would get a face full of claw!
My cat would just become a frog and leap out of there. She's now terrified of going anywhere near the bathtub. You could pick her up and hold her snd she would just accept it, but as soon as you step over into the bathroom, she immediately panics and struggles to get out of your hands. I think I might have accidentally gave my cat PTSD from trying to shower her.
