Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

He got his hand slapped for a moment of honesty. It still blows my mind that we're choosing between a felon and a dementia patient.

I doubt he will last until November

Do you just run the same articles through chat gpt and repost them? How much does Russia pay to do their work for them?

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Accusations of astroturfing are unproductive and rarely accurate. Just ignore the article if you want.

Hey man, if Putin can convince even a quarter of the 12 people on lemmy he can turn the tide of this election

Maybe if there wasn't already a trend, but this user is all in on Russia and Trump.

Correctly criticizing Biden for enabling a genocide and not being anyone's first choice for a Democratic nominee == Russian bot...

🤡

The user hasn't spoken about the genocide. Just keeps parroting the same debate bullshit left and right. Every post is a direct attack against Biden and in turn a campaign ad for Trump. It does absolutely nothing to help keep Trump from being elected. Further, this same poster will not say a bad word about Trump. None. Feels an awful lot like a Russian propaganda agent or a closeted trump thumper, which is the same thing.

Lmao. Did you look? Simply check their post history during the height of the anti-genocide protests.

This is just immature black-and-white and conspiratorial thinking. Pointing out that Biden is ass on Palestine and people are concerned about his age is literally just pointing to reality. These are things that people I talk to IRL are all saying.

It's faaar from a hot take, but I guess all the people I know IRL are just pro-Trump, Russian bots, despite consistently voting democrat for as long as I've known them 🤷

If you don't want people pointing out the glaring issues with the presumptive democratic nominee, don't bend over backward to justify the problematic nominee. The criticism and disdain isn't going to go away by ignoring it.

[–] BassTurd@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You've made my point exactly. Prior to the debate, everything is anti Biden. Nothing had changed, just the anti Biden talking point. For someone that allegedly doesn't want Trump, their doing a damn fine job campaigning for him. There's a difference of being critical and being in the other side. The track record is 100% pro getting Trump elected.

It's literally the top story on the ABC News frontpage...

[–] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

ABC is funded by Russia?
