The conservatives don't need a new leader from the old ranks. They don't have anyone capable of doing the job already, so randomly replacing incompetence with other incompetence won't help them. They need to attract new talent to the party and I can't see how that's going to happen.

The only way they could survive would be to basically get rid of everyone and start over which is also incredibly unlikely.
