A lot of these people are people who made the effort to escape Reddit and all of its bullshit, it stands to reason they would also spend the extra effort to learn to use a privacy-respecting freedom-preserving OS. There are a LOT of computer nerds here.

The sheer number of computer needs strongly reminds me of early 2010s Reddit
It makes me want to reinstall Mint after years of not messing with Linux.

I would recommend Pop OS but any Linux is great.
