i don't even know, there was a post about mexico recognizing Palestine as a country, and i responded to some anti-semitic comments there about how "what's happening in Palestine is facism" also told a story of a holocaust survivorI know as a response to a different comment... and all the comments on the post got delted and i got banned for some reason
Had a look in the modlog... the mod deleted all comments and locked the thread. Looks really a bit strange. I could understand it as not wanting to attract discussions that could get dirty, at all. Critique ageinst the state of israel is often misinterpreted as antisemitism, and discussions around these topics tend to attract antisemites.
Did you ask why a ban was seen necessary?
not really, kinda chucked it to either the "mods picked a side" or the "mods try to avoid conflict" bin most probably the first
