I'd assume most people have peeled an orange, but probably not a lemon. Interesting question though.

I have never has a reason to peel a lemon. I don't have to when I juice them and I don't have to when I slice them for a drink. So why would I?
I was gonna say, it looks like a peeled orange, but yellow.
I did, but they never looked like this because they kept most of the white layer beneath the peel and unlike some oranges it was impossible to pull off.
yeah this happens sometimes it might be a ripeness thing? unsure
Someone else said there's specific lemons that are meant to be peeled. Not sure.
