There's perhaps something to be said about how the increase in the varieties of horny available are increasing Gamer Horniness due to better market coverage. There's Chud Horny, like Stellar Blade or BG3, and there's Woke Horny, like Hades or BG3, so everyone has something to be horny about.
Allosexual victories, positive developments...
how is bg3 chud horny?
It's not, really, but the CRPG audience tends to include more "old-school" gamers who are chuds. Whether or not BG3 appeals to them, idk.
I imagine changing market demographics are a factor, too. Back in the day crpgs were marketed at a very specific sub set of young men, now there's more writing for women, queer people, non-man-children.
