While we will try our best, lemmy.ml/c/transgender is far more open to the fediverse, and also to trolls. One of the site admins of lemmy.ml, nutomic, is also a transphobe, while hexbear is ran mostly by trans people and has a very active trans community.

Really is the decision isn't it. Do you want to leave to find a place that values you as a person with a right to exist or do you have the emotional endurance to fight for what's right in a place you call home

This isn't just a question Trans Texans need to ask themselves, but every citizen of a far right state, country, and world. So many people in my country, the USA, are heavily considering leaving and in some cases applying for cirizenship in other countries.

My take on it is simple though, if America falls to far right Trumpism/Fascism, do you really think it'll simply stop at the US borders?

People always say "live to fight another day". But what happens when there aren't any more days left to live? I'd rather fight and die today, than run and die another.
