because you’re equating this with ball kicking, chest stomping, and backhands to the face. this is not even close to as bad as those things.
I never really equated anything. I was more referring to the fact that he has so many incidents now, regardless of however they are "graded" on severity by anyone.
Also, I just read your comment and had another look at the video again, and to me, whatever the lead up to the incident (with them being tangled/fighting for position) it looks to me that he makes a conscious effort to hook the neck, or at least prevent it from happening.
Plus it's to the neck/head area. Sports around the world are really clamping down on that kind of stuff, leading to players having to consciously avoid any such contact even if accidental.
