MODERATORS
I've known people who worked at their school's library and it wasn't only just accepted that they studied while on the job, it was encouraged.
My nephew does that and loves it. He gets to scan old materials to preserve them.
Ooh this is a great idea! I might even be able to get into a university library because I'm student age.
