Woman who crosses freeway is shocked to be hit by car ?
Maybe she needed a job because this is a capitalist society and people without jobs often end up on the streets and that was the job she was best qualified for?
Can we please stop blaming workers for who hires them and how they treat them?
Right. The only job she could get was at SpaceX.
Her own greed had nothing to do with it.
Do you know her situation? No you don't.
This is some real victim-blaming. She was sexually abused. She was forced to father some asshole's child. And your response is the employment equivalent of "she shouldn't have worn that short skirt."
Lol, what? I thought abortion was legal in California. Are you saying she was raped and kept the baby to term? Use your words, man.
No it's not, stop replacing what I'm saying with your own words as though they're my own.
If you had read the document in the article, you would have known that he tried to force her to abort it after forcing her to have unprotected sex. It starts on page 13 if you want to read it for yourself.
And if that wasn't what you were saying, what was your point in claiming she was only staying in that job out of greed?
So... she chose to have a child with someone?
Why are you even mentioning this?
Because, SpaceX is not the only company she could get a job at. That's what I meant by my sarcastic remark saying "The only job she could get was at SpaceX" and "Her own greed had nothing to do with it."
How about instead of pivoting and moving goalposts, you admit you were wrong and move on with your life? I don't think you're capable of that, though.
Can't wait to see what irrelevant information you bring up next.
What... the... fuck.
Sure, as soon as you read the document that her lawyers filed and realize why the first thing I quoted above was such an incredibly fucked up thing to say.
Why are you acting surprised? You said she was "forced to have a kid with an asshole," leading me to believe she was raped and couldn't get an abortion. Then it turns out she just chose to keep it on her own and wasn't raped. Where's the force? Why are you even mentioning this?
This is what I mean by you sharing irrelevant information, which you're still continuing to do.
Lol.
Why on Earth you think the very basic details of this lawsuit are irrelevant, I do not understand.
I know you don't understand.
That's why you keep trying to replace what I'm saying with something that's easier to argue against.
I see it all the time.
Feel free to explain.
Not op but facts relating “forced to father an asshole’s child”, as put forward by Plaintiff in the source document I believe you are ignoring, are the claims that the father offered $100,000 to have an abortion amongst other attempts to convince her to abort. The relationship may have been coercive/forced, and Plaintiff claims she felt “she had to submit” to Defendant’s sexual advances, but the childbirth does not appear to be “forced” as you said and Plaintiff does not appear to claim such.
She was forced by him forcing her to have unprotected sex in the first place.
Freeways aren't obligated to cater to pedestrians. Workplaces are obligated to foster safe environments for all employees. You can think what you want of things connected to musk but it still SpaceX's fault at the end of the day.
Not all workplaces are created equal...
And yet they're all subject to the law.
The law can only protect you from so much.
At some point, you need to be responsible for your own actions.
Real big "leopards ate my face" vibes, here.
Woman crossing street when the pedestrian light was green hit by car
No, that would mean she isn't working for a scummy company like SpaceX.
This is about the most classic victim blaming I have heard.
More like, "leopards ate my face."
