Many domestic coal companies are making deeper forays into the integration of clean coal power and CCUS technologies, as well as carbon sinks and carbon trading mechanisms, to offset carbon emissions and realise zero-carbon production.

Every clean coal initiative has shutdown because the tech can't work and it makes cleaner fuels or green sources so competitive there is no financial reason to keep coal plants online.

Coal as we knew it is dead and it won't be back.
