Joe Biden would be the type of developer to only handle issues on a linked Discord, with no option of Matrix
Matrix has the same flaw(s) as Discord for this use case, they both require you to make an account to find and view helpful information, and this information can just be nuked off the face of the Earth with no archive at a moments notice. Public mailing lists are awesome and the only way to handle this kind of stuff imo.
