Genuinely kinda upset.
Given how much of a shit show YouTube is, Tom’s always been a beacon of integrity on the platform.
Always strived to make the best possible video, putting quality before maximizing profit.
I'd like him to do more, but maybe he's done everything interesting enough to make it onto his channel. I'd rather he stop than start making lower quality (in terms of topics) videos.
Maybe he's just embodying the quote: "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain".
I think that’s his thought process as well, and speaks to the way he’s run the channel.
I hope we see him do something like occasional mini series on the channel though. I think that could be a way for him to do projects at his own pace, rather than be stuck on a weekly schedule.
I'm honestly excited. He mentioned in the video how there will probably be some more experimental stuff, and I really like his experimental stuff. Money, for example, was really good. And there's still Lateral for us to listen to while we wait.
