She hates being brushed. I mean, hissing and growling and trying to get away the whole time. She doesn't bite or swat, but the whole thing is extremely stressful for her and you basically can't do it. I take her to a local cat-only vet every 4-6 months to get trimmed, depending on the length of her coat and what season it is. She doesn't get trimmed right before or during winter unless it's BAD. But if she ever gets cold, she's pretty good at getting under one of the blankets we leave out for her.
