Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Like how you are caring about the Palestinian people being genocided rn? by voting for the guy who approved money for their ongoing genocide.
I could ask you the same question.
Fewer Palestinians are going to die under Biden than Trump. Do I wish the number was 0? Yes, absolutely. And I'm really disappointed it isn't. But there's still a choice to make here that'll save Palestinians who would be otherwise killed.
If 10,000 more Palestinians would die under Trump than Biden, and you don't see that as enough reason to vote for Biden, what does that say about how you feel about those 10,000 people?
There's a very easy way to tell the difference between someone paying lip service or using a tragedy as a weapon, and someone who actually cares about the issue. The person who cares doesn't stop when 0 deaths isn't achievable -- they keep working to make the number as close to 0 as possible. And with this context, when the options are to vote for Trump, Biden, or neither, I think the choice is fairly clear.
