CreamAPI. Your antivirus will flag it and quarantine it, tell it to ignore the program. Then just point it at the base game from Steam, click, boom.
Also you can get a copy of CreamAPI and configuration files for games (and the games too) from https://cs.rin.ru.

You’re basically fucked if you’re on Linux though. I think they were coming out with some alternatives but they’re not as popular as creamapi
