Me: Haha, 20 year old games, huh? Like Super Mario Bros. and Megaman, right?
Them: Zelda Twilight Princess came out in 2006.
Me: (Benjamin Button gif)
You mean the gif of the movie that came out 18 years ago?
Quake 1 is still rocking servers and multiplayer games are still being had, 30 years later.
It's still a great multiplayer gaming experience. back when games were made properly; with the sacrificial sweat of a demon's nutsack.
We're all Sanae on this day
The PS3, 360, and Wii are the 20 year old consoles now.
The PS3 was shown at E3 a few months before I was born and I am old enough to drink in the United States
PS4 will start being retro any moment now… my back hurts.
But I just got the 360. It's the first console I got b/c I wanted to play Ace Combat 6...
FACK.
How about an awesome expansion to a 30something year old Zelda 2?

Im on the 3rd palace and it feels like an expansion, same gameplay. Its really good.
The explosion of expansions and general romhacks in the last decade has been beautiful. Not all of them are winners, but so many are. If gaming companies funded them and sold them, we'd be in a golden age. But we're just suing the kiddies these days.
Seems reverse engineering games to then rewrite them to other platforms with AI is the new hobby.
It's a little early to be this mean.
