Feature request: Hide all vote counts (lemmy.ca)

submitted 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) by stinkytofuisgood@lemmy.ca to c/voyagerapp@lemmy.world

11 comments fedilink hide all child comments

Edit: leaving this for other silly geese like me who missed the toggle. The answer is in the comments here!

My request is for a toggle to hide all vote counts in comments and on posts or anywhere they appear.

I'd like it if the up vote and down vote buttons were still visible and clickable because voting is still a form of abuse and spam prevention, but I personally find the vote counts themselves distracting and unneeded.

Is an optional toggle for that possible to implement?

Thank you Voyager devs, I really like your app.

Try the third option, “hide”. I just tried it. It hides the numbers but still enables voting, unless I’m missing something. You can vote on comments with the swipe gestures.

Holy shit I'm an idiot. IT WORKED!!!

Thanks a lot! I'm gonna up vote you for that, and in return you can up vote me or down vote me or do nothing, and now I won't see it!

Apologies for the waste of a post. I'm usually pretty thorough with the settings menu but this one snuck by.

Ty!!
