I would really really really like to get a definitive answer on this from the 3 members on the board of directors of Federated Open Communications Canada.
Do they check this site regularly? If not, they should be.
These are the people ultimately in control of this not-for-profit.
Edit: I will try to get their attention here. If that fails, I will send a physical letter to their registered office address.
To add to this: pharmacists are able to prescribe medication of certain classes, for certain conditions, depending on the province. Here is a list with more details for anyone interested:
It's always a concern when travelling to another country. There's the decision between biometrics, passcode and/or burner. When travelling, always keep in mind that legality varies, and a country's compliance with their laws varies as well...
Prepare ahead of time, always.
Celebrities, AI, Reddit, lemmy - a short and incomplete list of places to not take medical advice or diagnose from. Doctors have doctorates in their field of expertise for a reason. If I want to complain about my achy joints here, I will. But I sure as hell won't trust my personal health decisions to somebody without proof of competence.
They're just easy to ignore, although I suppose cigarette warnings are large and graphic but that doesn't stop most either...
I suppose those who care would read it in any form. Maybe this followed by some sort of promotional videos to alert the general public? I would take this type of info-graphic in any form though.
You’re right. I made assumptions. They’re based on previous platforms. Fact is that social media is not worth the brand risk for most.
Especially when clientele is diverse. So the urge to do it here against my better judgement is a risk analysis I need to make.
I genuinely want businesses in Canada to flourish. I also run my own Canadian business - and helping other Canadian businesses is how I make my revenue.
Like I said, this account is kaput now. So if I start again I’ll take it slow. But I am going to wait for the board of directors to answer me (or not) prior to making my decision.
Thanks for your words of support, by the way.
