'I told you so's are not super useful, but there are definitely some DSA-heads around here that should be starting to reconsider the strategy they have been pushing. I don't think it's really possible to argue that Mamdani is acting in a way which can be turned into positive movement for socialism. I tried to be open, and even recently let supporters convince me that they had a strategy (even if I didn't believe it myself), but we are definitely at a point where that should be considered as a failure unless his betrayal was accounted for somehow.

Why would they do that? This website is more about vibes based declarations of strategy rather than an evaluation of potential outcomes and what they mean for future strategies.

They were badly analyzed strategies for sure, thats proven by how it turned out. Idk if it was vibes based and therefore bad or just misplaced and bad

I think "I told you so, accept you had the wrong idea and help us try something else so we can stop losing" is useful though.

The co-option of leftist energy has a long history within the Democratic Party, and these DSA-affiliated candidates are just the latest iteration of that
