I'm a little pessimistic because next time it will be "this time is different, he's super based and says all sorts of things that I like to hear". Some because they never went through it and some because they are just desperate to have something as easy and gentle as getting a few socdems elected. "This is how real change is made. How many elections have you won, ultra? Start a revolution tomorrow if you are such a Marxist!"

TBF non-electoral organizing isn't working well either. At least now from what I can see in the US. So what options are left?
My point is that the victory they are claiming is hollow and their approach is structurally incapable of producing the outcome that they allegedly want.
IDK this feels too harsh. Getting the pre-K for tons of families is the opposite of hollow. We need to be careful not to handwave real improvements in people's lives because we have ideological issues with the official.
I agree, and we should give the Knesset due credit for maintaining universal healthcare coverage for Israeli citizens. Social Democracy is objectively the left wing of the Adults in the Room.
And you wonder why no one takes you people seriously?
