Also good luck running a parallel power grid without oil assholes. Unless they decide to have nuclear power plants in each base, which would be equal parts funny because it just paints a giant target on a single, expensive and very delicate facility critical to all operations, and scary for all the civilian population many bases are surrounded by (something, something, human shields)
they did decide on nuclear micro reactors on every base? they are running two pilot projects by 28 or some shit
