"Canada has taken advantage of us for so many years. The worst of any country," Trump said.

Someone should tell this moron that repeating something excessively does not make it true.

Guy has been doing it publically since the 80s, and probably all 8 decades of his life and it got him nothing but power and wealth.

Its the morons who listen to him that need to be straightened out.

Joseph Goebbels: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

The only education the guy ever had was reading Mein Kampf.

This tracks.

I would say there’s a difference between reading and comprehension. He can read, but he has zero ability to comprehend what he’s reading. Anything requiring complex thought — nahh he’s doneskies.

I think he can read. Given how he talks though, it's at a very low grade level. One could say he's doing it to keep it where his base can understand the words, but that's giving him a lot of credit for being a closet mastermind (aka Phil Hartman's Reagan skit on SNL). I doubt it.

One of his ex wives said in interviews that Trump kept a book of Hitler's speeches on his bedside table.

That's his idea of some light reading before bedtime..

He is just following in the footsteps of those who came before him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_lie

I think you underestimate the idiocy of the American public....

That is how narcissists work.

I saw a meme on facebook of Trump giving an anti-trans speech, and I knew it was bullshit. Not because Trump isn't anti-trans (he is, don't know happened to him to make him that way, he was one of the people against bathroom bans initially... Oh right mental decline and his base loving it when he shit talks transpeople happened.), but because it was coherent and well-written... for bigotry.
