Why do you think suddenly they're trying to crack down on piracy?
How? I haven't noticed anything.
They just introduced a bill to ban vpns from accessing piracy sites, I don't have the link on me but you can look it up. About 3 days ago

If they had any ability to control piracy sites, wouldn't they just shut them down?
Sounds DOA.
As I said, a bill to ban VPNs from accessing piracy sites. Not forcing piracy sites to do anything, forcing providers to block access.
That doesn't make sense. VPN providers are even further outside their jurisdiction.
