Well, it wasn’t so much the shitting. She could have handled it right then and nobody would have heard about it
It was the smearing shit across the entire venue, other athletes, and all the equipment, to the point where they had to do an overnight emergency carpet replacement. Then going home and bragging about it in a now deleted post, humiliating both Hyrox and her (now former) sponsor Puma as the internet was flooded with thousands of shocking pictures and videos

you make it sound like she running around intentionally finger painting it smearing it on people and things. thats not even remotely the story here.
Well, she got it all over her arms and hands then actively smeared it into equipment other people had to use. This went on for like 40 minutes. Then she publicly bragged about doing so.
Your interpretation of the story is that she was unaware this was happening?

Cuz fact is: she was apologetic and relinquished her prize shortly after the incident and the sponsor regretted their decision in it too. This was barely a story but someone needed to insinuate this girl had some deeper issues just to make it that more foreboding than it really is. She fucked up. Just like alot of people do every day. Then she apologized. just like anyone else does everyday when they fuck up. nothing more. No one got hurt thankfully. A valuable lesson was learned. Could it have gone better? sure. but we cant change the past. so we really could all move on and could very well find far better stories than this to be outraged by.
This was all pretty easy to look up btw. but that is no fun for these little trolls to look up the real facts of a story cuz they all want to pitchfork the shit out of the real news.
not everything is a doomscroll in the way they would so desperately want it to be just for the rage clicks.
How these narratives get so bent is more sickening than some lady shitting her pants.
So here’s the thing. Other people have actually posted sources instead of just ranting about it. Including the full timeline with screenshots that disprove what you’re saying. So why would anybody believe you?
Even in your dubious version of events you completely gloss over the fact that she continued on for an egregious amount of time after making the mess. It just doesn’t add up

She shit herself, got shit on her hands and legs, and continued to use the shared equipment. It was bad enough the competition organizers are replacing the flooring. That's pretty much what the other person said.
She chose to get her shit everywhere instead of taking care of her mess. If that's not intentionally smearing shit on things, I don't know what would be.
If you have paint on your hands and you choose to use somebody's thing without cleaning your hands, you chose to get paint on it. She chose to get her shit on everything, so she gets blamed for the thing she did.
It's not that far off really.
