Oh shit, the government made a rule so that we all together pollute less, NANNY!
Japan has been separating their bottle caps for decades without government intervention.
If you think a bottle cap that doesn't do anything for the customer but helps the manufacturer observer a compliance, isn't nanny bs, then you are in fact brainwashed by the state.
