Like Zohran and Abdul examples dems don’t have to do this shoe0nhead crap.
Kowtow and agree with conservatives on everything, claim you should still be voted for on virtue of being “one of the good ones”…and then get slimed in elections because you’re still not right wing enough.
Zohran (despite being an electoralist lib) never sold out trans people, and there’s a huge framing to be had that if trans people getting rights is a dealbreaker for you as a worker getting rights too, you have nothing but first world problems.

there's severe criticisms of the civic gender clinics he's doing but that's more cowardice and ignorance than a selling out. although it's a little bit selling out because certain people won't be able to get hrt from them.
