To be fair, Spider-Noir was basically a standalone story. They didn't leave any cliffhangers, or even tease anywhere for a season 2 to go.
The season basically ended with "and then they went on to have more adventures!"
I appreciate shows that can exist as they are.
However, it was canceled so while the show may not have any dangling cliffhangers there was a chance that it would continue so I still say fuck Amazon. I'd say that anyway, for a multitude of other reasons, but the show having no cliffhanger doesn't absolve Amazon from bring greedy pricks about it.
Just because they wrote it in a way to make a Season 1 cancellation fine without lingering stories, that doesn't mean that was the intention.
If it was intended to be a single season mini series, it would have been pitched and greenlit that way in the first place.
