Politics is allowed, but should not be the main focus of the community.

A podcast, but having only read the transcript, I can say it does make an excellent read.

But that change has also created some uncertainty for the men who have been used to being at the center of every household, every office, every institution, marketing campaign, and political decision.

How can men be "used to" this? When this hasn't been true for most men for decades, and it never has been for true for all men.

Kind of a journalistic tradition to talk about privileged white people as the default, but I think here they are specifying.

Oh, that's easy, because that's the image that's projected in popular media. It doesn't matter if it's really true, or if it ever was. People believe that it is true, or that it should be.
