Hello netizens of Lemmy, while printing this single wall wing segment i ran into a problem with significant bulging around the middle. This causes the segments to not fit onto the frame or each other. If anyone has ideas on how to fix this, please share. At this point i'm pretty desperate and willing to try just about anything.
I would recommend redesigning the print if at all possible. Slicing a model of those dimensions is difficult in the best of circumstances.
Thanks for the recommendation. I can freely redesign it, but i don't think slicing is causing any issues here. FreeCAD has no problem creating thin meshes and Orca Slicer correctly generates just a single smooth curve for every layer.
