I'm curious, how does Japan feel about Israel? I want to say they probably support it and are like Germany, former WWII fascist axis and projects of the USA post-war now becoming more militarized and fascist again.
According to this poll I found from Pew, they aren't fans. Frankly it's worth noting that most people everywhere are anti-Israel, it's just the ruling class that are zionists. See 80% of democratic voters being anti-Israeli but the democrats refusing to do the popular thing because we aren't a democracy.
On the whole, your average Japanese person is like your average Brit. A racist bastard. Of course they love Israel.
When I was there I did see one lovely old lady waving a Palestine flag though
