Yeah - I did like 2 minutes of research and it looks like the native ranges didnt overlap but the current commercial growing areas definitely push further north than I realized.
Aren’t they kind of annoying to get to pollinate though?
Yes that's the main issue in my area more so than frost actually. We don't have their native pollinators here. And the flowers bloom in spring when it's quite cool, so many years you don't get good production. The flowers only develop properly in warm temps (like 80s).
