The social dynamics strongly remind me of those around being vegan. The frustration, too.
Hate it. Wish things were better.
The difference between being anti-genAI and being vegan is that humans have been eating meat since we evolved. LLMs, diffusion, what have you did not exist literally five years ago. There is no one who does not remember a world without them and yet already people question if living without them is possible.
