It's usually in the mornings when he thinks no one's at home, and its always some mariah carey type stuff

I do actually play, to the point that I don't know how to play it badly. The suffering will only be on me, as I hate to play the damn thing

How about the saxophone, with a damaged reed. Alto and tenor can get pretty loud and the damaged reed gives off a lovely screech at the best times
