Anon is strong enough to do household chores but not work.
So am I!
I can do housework and even some major projects now and then, and it makes me hurt, sometimes to the point I can’t get out of bed, so then I don’t do more work for a few days, until it feels better, rinse and repeat. Amazing!
Jobs with any sort of physical component just constantly aggravate those pains, day after day, until I break down completely. Super fun stuff! Even sitting at a screen all day aggravates the upper back problems after a couple months! No ergonomics or physical therapy have fixed that, yet. If I could find a fully remote job that would probably work for a while, but those are hard to land. So here we are.
Chronic pain is no joke. Stay strong
The great part about doing household work is that you can stop and take a break whenever you need without drawing the ire of your employer
You can even just not do anything for a couple of days if you feel unwell!
Judge Judy vibes.
No idea what that means.
in 2026, doing household chores is barely any work. source: do it myself daily/weekly
