I hopeful but realistic. The investments have been greenwashing by airlines for a while so you wouldn't feel bad for flying, so I'm both happy it's working while remaining skeptical.
Still, if they could replace regional flights that would be a huge boon. Regional flights are some of the worst polluters.
The only flight I could see this replacing for me has a good train option I often take, so this feels only academic. Then again, it might feel more natural for the US market?
Yes, since we don't have regional rail in the states, it is very common for a person to take a 45 minute flight to a nearby hub
Right. Perfect is the enemy of good.
125 miles would barely get you across the greater Metro area here. Useless to get you out of town.
