I mean why do you think white American guys are interested in socialism? I entered the workforce in the post 2008 world. That is to say during the ongoing capitalist crisis of social reproduction. It’s a response to the fact that of the group of global northerners whose job in the world system is to consume, the herd’s getting culled. If your heart was broken by Bernie and before that Obama, you see China’s ability to procure treats and start slobbering. Chinese electric car made by Congolese slaves!!! Chinese burger from pig skyscraper!!! Anyhow it’s a podcast it’s entertainment. I found them saying all instances of commie jargon in the funny voice annoying
Yea I have sadly realised that so many white and even poc in imperial core just care about their treats. They don't love China because it can create good food, third spaces, good infrastructure, but for their treats, EVs, gadgets, fast food, and of course for many freaking chatbots.
