Yep, just hit that point with both The Last Podcast on the Left (coverage of the My Lai massacre, general pro-capitalism with no connection to the frequently-mentioned problems it causes without connecting the two) and Behind the Bastards (for neoliberal apologia). I know I'm late to the game. Onwards and upwards.
I remember listening to the crooked media podcast about a second US civil war with the Behind the Bastards guy. Besides having to watch like 4 ads selling me the PMC version of dick pills, it was basically the same our divisions divide us schlock every liberal attempt at that story becomes. Also his conflict journalist osint kind of suspicious background.
Yea behind the bastards was decent with its research but their stalin episode really showed their true positions.
Respect the Dead is a better, gayer Behind the Bastards
I don't listen to political podcasts anymore but I always thought that behind the bastards was great when it was about topics that aren't uh currently relevant to American imperialism I guess. The Scott Adams series is really great. I liked the episodes with Paul F Tompkins on rush limbaugh too
I'm at the same position with Lions Led By Donkeys, most of their episodes are fine but anything related to Russia/USSR brings out the hosts brainworms, and they can be too charitable towards modern Western militaries, but he's fine for historical topics
Honestly, it's good when it's about people I also hate lol
