So no shade on modders, they do some great work. But modding code in an existent piece of software and building code from scratch are leagues apart. That’s like assuming because someone does entertaining “playing [song] in [genre the original song was not in] style” videos, that must make them an expert composer.
Even if they hired the guy who made Cursed Halo and all of those other incredible mods he would jump out of a window after a month of dealing with Microsoft's boneheaded upper management
part of the appeal of modding is not having any management tbh, just make any stupid shit and throw it out into the world
