I think it is important to point out to social democrats the monstrosities of imperialism that hold up things like Sweden and California, the Bernie types and squishies do not like to hear that the Norwegian nations are the most imperialist (per capita) on earth in the Leninist strict definition. They make the most per capita in absolute figures from foreign extraction by multinational corporations. They operate under NATO and western-aligned “freedom” that has forcibly opened markets for them. They are a complicit part of the American fascist empire, a willing vassal - and any “socialism” they achieve is chauvinistic and built on super exploitation.
