Remember the only qualification to become a parent is functional gonads. No education, training, or proof of competency and aptitude is required.
Which is why shit parents often resort to physically assaulting their children. It's because the are too ignorant of actual parenting techniques and methods to know otherwise.

I got spanked and I turned out fine. And by that I mean I'm not having kids cause fuck all that noise.
I don't think people are here advocating beating children. They're advocating physically forcing the kid to sit down. That's just restraining an unruly passenger. It's not a punishment.
Beating parents on the other hand...
This is the single best argument for abortion. If the idiots of the world cannot be trusted to have children, we should let them get rid of them before they become everyone's problem without question.
I, personally, hope there are "wellfare queens who get weekly abortions" because thats better than this fictional racist strawman being forced to have a kid

You have people who acknowledge that a significant number of parents are shit because they end up raising a significant number of adults who are also shit...but then these same people typically are the ones who want to ban or impede universal access to birth controls , abortion, sterilization , and sex ed?
